Galway City Hostel & Bar
2.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (73)
"Convenient location near the center of Galway. Short walk to the shopping and restaurant district. The hostel was well kempt with friendly and accommodating staff. There is no parking at the hostel, but there are plenty of parking garage options nearby. The one negative is that the room with 4 beds was small with little space to maneuver in even when there was just 2 people present. For a one night stay as a solo traveler, it was well worth it for its central location."

Goldcrest Village Rooms University of Galway
2.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (2)
"Budget accommodation without the manky factor, on lovely campus. Helpful staff. Bed not so comfortable, but everything clean and fresh. Shower a problem - impossible to adjust or aim, stinging pressure but mostly missed your body and soaked your hair. In all, enjoyed our stay, and felt it was good value. "

The Savoy Hostel
2.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (31)
"Easy check in, good facilities and generally clean. Some guests brought plates and food into the rooms which were left there overnight. Also some guests being very loud at 3am in the supposedly quiet area, when there is a common room downstairs. Staff need to enforce the rules to ensure comfort for all guests. Rooms a little warm and stuffy but much better than most hostels, comfortable beds, storage lockers and plugs/reading lights/usb at each bed."
