The hotel is lovely - clean and modern with everything you need including a pool. It is a family run business, and they could not have been more lovely - nothing was too much trouble. "Lovely place, lovely grounds, nice breakfast, very convenient for places like Taormina. The only slight issue we had was that we were looking forward to having dinner in their restaurant, where much of the food cooked would come from the farm itself, but they stop opening in the evenings from 20th October until April - we arrived 22nd October! Shame, and it would have been useful if this was advertised - they do still provide lunches at weekends though, in the off-season."

"My husband and I thought that the best way to describe this place was to compare it to "fawlty towers" with the grumpy owner that really wished he was not in hotel business and the lady serving breakfast wished she was somewhere else and would not bother talking with us in italian.
