"Needed a place to stay that was close to Manatee Springs and this really fit the bill. We ended up exploring up to Steinhatchee and Suwanee and down to Cedar Key. The house was right in the middle and was easy access to the main roads. The house was as described and amazingly clean. Will definitely use it again for excursions to the west coast."

"Sandie's home is in a rural area with cleared, flat pastures that offer a 360-degree view of the night sky. We spent two nights enjoying "real" darkness without the insistence of city lights. Your private entrance is actually Sandie's front door. She will meet you when you arrive and hand you your keys. Otherwise you won't see her unless you call. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, and Sandie herself is a lovely and very interesting person. Any dog lovers will have an instant bond....

"The property and the host and the area was wonderful. We very much enjoyed staying there. Incredible time kayaking with dolphins all around us, took a small airplane ride from a local pilot, which was wonderful to see the islands, rented bikes, and bikes all around the neighborhoods, great seafood, live music was great and the place we stayed in was Quaint and cute. The only thing we should have done was checked into whether there was a way to do some light cooking. No stove or a hot plate. But...

"This place was just perfect for what we were looking for! It was serene and quiet. I have Verizon but my friend did not, so with no wifi, it really helps with not being on our technology. We checked out a couple of the springs around and just enjoyed the property. Just make sure you bring everything you need on your ride in. There is a small market with limited hours but a really cute deli. (Closed on Sundays) we loved the accommodations and we'll be back."
