"This is nice property with upgraded room and bathroom. The infinity pool is amazing. Location is great. Great choice of food at the breakfast buffet. Live station was good. Already cooked meals were ok. Need to improve the taste a little. Working crew can add little bit more character by smiling and making the morning better for the visitors. "The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were also really nice and even did a wash load of clothes for us for $10. There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. "Lovely location and we enjoying visiting this beautiful colonial beach hotel however we were charged twice for drinks consumed in the lobby and moved to the terrace area despite explaining to the staff at the time and showing my receipts. Be careful and double check your statements as they take your bank card and disappear with it. They don’t need a pin or a signature to take money out. Shocking! "
