I told the hotel of this and there was a bottle of good cava chilling in our room and red ‘flower petals’ scattered on the floor. I had expected a charge but there wasn’t. Three weddings were being celebrated that day so lots of excitement but zero inconvenience or disturbance. "Good location on main square. Room was overly hot as heating had been turned off for summer but air conditioning had not yet been turned on. Staff were helpful but could not do much except provide a fan. Continental breakfast was average OK for the cost and food selection. Easy walk to all main tourist attractions. "We booked an upgraded room so our room size was good. The standard room looks small. Nice clean quiet room. Comfortable bed. Only negative is that there is no kettle or coffee making facilities. Hotel is 15 mins walk to the main attractions. For food, go to El Toro Tapas Alleyway 10 mins walk. The Renfe train station is 45 mins walk so best to take taxi or use the local bus."

"We really wanted to like this place - it’s a gorgeous, old stone chalet with great photos. Unfortunately, we were met by an unpleasant man who led us to a very small room that had a horrific smell. We tried to air the place out but it didn’t fix the problem. We asked about the smell, assuming that we be moved to a different room, but the man was irritated at our request and gave us a bottle of pine cleaner to pour down the sink drain...and that didn’t fix it. Also, we were bit by some unseen...

"If you stay at this hotel make sure you do not stay on the 6th floor. On the 7th floor there is a restaurant and you hear the constant moving of chairs and tables. This is a great hotel other than that. Perfectly located but you do need to walk a bit to the free parking. With all this said I recommend this hotel anyway"
