"Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Property seemed to be under construction in some areas, but overall very clean and nice. It's a little bit of a walk to the Bar Harbor shops and restaurants (25 minute walk/3 minute drive), but parking is free and so is breakfast! There is a restaurant on site that we did not eat at, so I can't review, but the breakfast was good and convenient (hot & cold choices). Hotel is right off the beach; highly recommend splurging for the ocean view!"

"THANK GOD we were upgraded to another hotel (Home 2, which was very nice!) due to supposed mechanical issues I believe she said, but pulling up to it, my friend said no way was she going to stay here. It looked MUCH better online, you DO NOT want to stay here. We also thought they maybe had some type of housing going on here and not so much overnight travelers. The front desk gal was very nice and called up by name and said Expedia had arranged this upgrade for us at the same cost, where we...
