"We stayed at Furneaux Lodge while walking the Queen Charlotte Track in February, 2024. After hiking the ~10 miles on the first day through a symphony of cicadas and outstanding views, feeling hot and tired, we walked into the magical oasis that is Furneaux Lodge. The setting is absolutely dreamy with a large grassy yard leading down to a pretty beach. It feels tranquil and elegant. We'd splurged on a suite and were astounded by how beautiful it was. "Property was clean and tidy, handy to town, plenty of parking and staff pleasant. Only thing is that the beds in the units with view are terrible. Have stayed here many times and that's the only thing oh and the room smelt smokey for some reason. "
