"Wonderful hotel tucked away in the valley of some beautiful hills. Ate dinner there every night (3), although there are restaurants within an easy walk. Great breakfast, too (will cook eggs to order). Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Up to date rooms that were very clean. Thinking about returning there in the winter for a ski trip. Highly recommend a visit to the Ehrenberg castle ruins, which you can see from the hotel - about a 10 minute drive."

"This hotel definitely has its quirks. The shag carpet is something that we read about in other reviews & is one of the things that made the hotel not feel as clean. Besides that the hotel has a lot of character & is a really convenient location for exploring we city. We walked every where we wanted & needed to! The off site parking was a little confusing to find at first but once we did it was only a 5 min walk to the hotel. The staff was very kind & helpful with restaurant recommendations. "

"Hotel is very close to the center of town. Everything is walkable. I like how room is designed and space is optimized. I even like the smell of their hand wash and shampoo. WiFi was a bit spotty in the beginning, but got fixed immediately."

"Really nice Austrian guest house. Family operated. Restaurant on site, Spectacular view of the church and the mountains around Innsbruck. And wherever you go to rent skis etc, everyone knows "The Bear"."
