"We love the Sylvia! Accept that it’s an older hotel (100 years ) Location can’t be beat!!! Stanley Park, English Beach, dinning in the neighbourhood, the locals and everything that is walkable! Love it and have for many years always returning to Sylvia"

"I would stay here again. The location was great and easy to walk to many places of interest. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great in the restaurant. My only complaint is that the room was somewhat small, but very comfortable. "

"This is a beautiful hotel with a great bar and restaurant. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable . The coffee provided for the room is actually good and they offer real half and half in their fridge for your coffee. Water is also provided. You can walk everywhere in downtown Vancouver from here. The service is also great! Highly recommend if you are staying in Vancouver. It’s also a 10 minute or less taxi to the cruise terminal if you’re going on a cruis! "
