"This was mainly a fishing trip so we were expecting a rather rustic cottage. It was not. Very comfortable, lots of comfy seating with blankets and pillows and many extras. John and Rachel came to introduce themselves the first night and we found them very down to earth And friendly. We would definitely recommend this to anybody coming to the area. They are open year-round."

The house was extremely comfortable, clean and centrally located, not only to the snowmobile trails, but also to the local store and restaurants. "The property has a large grassy back yard that provides gorgeous views of the lake. A wooden gliding bench allows for morning coffee by the water, listening to the loons. The shower had plenty of hot water for two of us. The only downfall was that many of the window screens were broken or bent and did allow mosquitos to come in."

We were there in winter though and did not have running water, which was the only inconvenience related to cooking, so did not cook. "We had a fantastic stay at the cabin/home. Rooms were spacious, even the bathrooms. Kitchen was steller (jealous of the stove & fridge) and lots of supplies if you get in the mood to cook. Hot tub was great and super clean. Private but not isolated and not too far from town. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend this place to everyone. Host Becky was especially accommodating."
