"Rental was clean inside, but the deck area needs attention. There was a thick layer of pollen on all the furniture, and a dead bird in the center of the floor. It was filthy. It appeared as if the deck hadn't had attention or cleaning for a long time. It definitely was not prepared fir the rental."

"The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!"

"We had a lovely time at the cabin! We stayed for the total eclipse and enjoyed a quiet private viewing in the woods! Our two little dogs were very happy at the property. The road leading down is a little bit rough, but that is the last 3 mile leg of the journey. You can hike up a nearby hill for cell reception if you need to connect, but the best part of this cabin was unplugging and relaxing. The short walk down the road leads to the large gravel riverbank. Fun for fossil hunting, skipping...

"It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town."

"Such a pleasant location. Quietly tucked away with a relaxing view across the pasture of horses. We loved spending time sitting in the screened-in porch every morning as we drank our morning cup of coffee. Due to the inclement weather, the porch also provided us the opportunity to enjoy the scenery while staying nice & dry! The kitchen was a little small, but was well stocked. "Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. "Exactly as described. Enjoyed walks with our dog down the quiet country road to the pretty creek. Very safe being off leash. Enjoyed kayaking with Windy outfitters just a few miles away. The town is also a few miles away with gas, groceries, eating places. Everyone is so friendly in Missouri! (We are from Illinois). Recommend the Pie Barn in town too. If you enjoy cooking you might bring some sharp knives, maybe a big pot and some dish towels. The hosts provide only one dish cloth and one dish...

"The camper was very comfortable for 4 adults. Everything was clean. The camper has 2 private bedrooms. The area is very pretty, the Current River within easy walking distance. Plenty of firewood was provided. Excellent star viewing on clear nights. Big Spring is so beautiful and is very close to this location. An enjoyable 3 days!"

"The cabin is cozy and welcoming. Two full kitchens can easily accommodate 2 families with plenty of privacy. Bbq pit, fire pit, porch with lighting with a view of the mountains is perfect. Cabin has plenty of privacy from neighboring homes. Only a few minutes from town. Close to both the Current River and Jack Forks."
