"Took our grandkids to Splash Lagoon for a surprise and stayed at the Hawthorn for the 1st time, my grandkids and I stated that they loved the hotel and we enjoyed the convenience. My only dislikes was that the image of the refrigerator was really dented and the Jacuzzi was a little dingy for my taste. Overall the room and the price was very good!"

"The refrigerator would not stay cold. Made it difficult to keep medication cold. I had to buy a cooler to do so. There were no garbage bags in the waste baskets. Luckily,I had Walmart bags, since I had to purchase a cooler, to place in baskets. Some icky stuff corroded on the front side of the desk. We cleaned it off. Also the exterior of the actual building was nice but the parking lot and curbing don’t give a great first impression when you pull in. Staff were friendly though and the room decor was cool.
