"We arrived at the villa and were met by Joao who was very helpful. The villa itself is stunning and spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. There were a lot of dogs barking and cockerels doing their earl morning chorus but that was a part of being in the countryside. Preferable to road noise! Everything was positive apart from the annoying wasps. Be sure to take spray. The other really important thing is to ensure that you have a car. The villa is in the middle of nowhere which is lovely...

"We loved our stay in this quiet self-contained villa. It is well-furnished, has good air-con, and is in a quiet village away from the hustle of the coastline. The best part was the stunning large private pool, and if the owner used it, we never saw him. The unit has an upper terrace with gorgeous views over the valley. Lots of useful amenities like a washing machine, well-equipped kitchen, and many sun umbrellas and loungers. A car is essential as you are about 15 minutes from the Faro airport....

"Stayed with family including kids and grandparents. The home is big and modern and clean with a beautiful private large yard and pool.We really enjoyed sitting outside and using the pool. One note that the house is not two villas as the listing says but really one large home where you could close off a section. Most homes we have visited have been better stocked so know that you need to get everything yourself even trash bags and cleaning supplies. There is no self check in or check out option...

"This was the most incredible rental property from start to finish. The photos do not begin to capture the beauty and amenities of the property. Pool area is incredible. Close to airport for efficiency but no noise. Cleaning crew comes daily. The best part is the host and the amenities he offers. Sergio was communicative from start to finish. "Lovely stay, everything you could want at this villa for a large group of friends or family. Four big double bedded rooms and another large room with 4 single beds, accommodated our family perfectly. One little tip for people staying here, use Uber taxis, when you book em, they are there within minutes and are cheap! Would deffo go to this villa again."

The communication was perfect - before we came I had lots of questions and Carlos replied very quickly and gave some restaurant recommendations and advised to go to the beach. "Wonderful home with a wonderful view. Large, private, villa just up the hill from charming Santa Barbara de Nexe. Only 20 minutes to the Faro area beeches. If you are a cyclist, the rolling hills of Algarve are right outside your door. BTW, a day in Seville is only 2 hours away. We had six adults and 1 teenager and it never felt crowded."

"We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun!
