A fantastic week in a home away from home
Just back from an absolutely brilliant week in villa sol. From first booking to checking out communication with Chris online and Pam the property manager on the island it was a breeze. Quick attentive responses from Chris who was happy to help and answer any questions, and a great simple check in with pam at the property made the start of the holiday stress free. The villa is nothing short of superb. Spotlessly clean throughout, everything you could ever need in the kitchen, upstairs and downstairs bathrooms both had great showers with fantastic pressure. The views out over the golf course from the master bedroom balcony and the outside dining/patio area are beautiful. And then there is the pool! A great size, nice temperature the whole time and just really relaxing to be in. My two boys aged 4 & 5 absolutely loved it, we could never get them out! Location is great, roughly a 10-15 minute walk down to the shopping centre where you will find everything you need and a couple of good food options if dining out. 20-30mins slow walk down into caleta itself (bear in mind we had a pram with us so it would be more like 20 with no children). 3-4 euros in a taxi back from town and 3 euros in a taxi back from the shopping centre makes it not worth walking back up the hill! Overall a 10/10 for us, this was our second stay but first as a family with children and we will definitely be back. Thanks chris/ pam for a great stay!

Fantastic property
This is a wonderful property , it’s got everything you need for a great holiday with the added bonus of the pool . We’ve been coming to Fuerteventura for many years and this is by far one of the best places we’ve stayed. Great communication with the owners Chris and Lindsay and the property managers upon our arrival. There was everything there that you need for a fabulous holiday.

Long weekend break
Property had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean, functional, modern and well presented. Nice 15 minute walk into Caleta and cheap taxi to get home if required. We would highly recommend for a great holiday.

Excellent Villa
Had a excellent holiday made all the better by staying here. The villa is in a nice quiet location not to far from the shopping centre and beach and only half hour walk into the resort centre. Very clean and comfortable, great area for sunbathing with the sun shining on you all day and the pool is amazing. The welcome pack we received was very much appreciated. Looking forward to returning next August and hopefully next November. Check in was made so easy thank you Pam. Having stayed in another villa for the last 10 years on Las salinas which is now up for sale we were apprehensive about looking for a new place to stay after so long, but after a weeks holiday staying here we have found our new go to place.

We had a great holiday, the villa was to a high standard as expected . It was really good to have a pool as not many properties of this size have one. The kitchen was really well stocked having everything needed. Also really appreciated being able to leave late evening due to night flight at no extra cost

Lovely Home From Home
The property is in a great location with fantastic views of the sea and surrounding hills from the bedroom balcony. The pool is heated a great and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The bonus of an undercover seating area is also good as at times it was very hot during our stay. Everything you need to make the most of your stay, very comfortable living area, kitchen and more importantly the beds are great. Communication with the owner from booking to leaving was exceptional and the local caretaker is lovely both wanting to make sure you have a great holiday. A much appreciated welcome pack ensures you don’t have to rush out for food when you arrive - oh a the 🍷 went down well too. Parking was never an issue. Location is great for exploring both ends of the island. We would highly recommend this property and would have no reservations in visiting again if we return to Fuerteventura. Brilliant Holiday Villa
We had a great time at Villa Sol. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the comfortable bed. The heated pool was a joy. We would have given 5 stars for every category of this review - however we do not believe that the maintenance was up to scratch for what we believe to be the perfect holiday property. Some ceiling fans/lights did not work. Poor exterior lighting at night - only two of the step lights were working !!! Apart from that brilliant.

Perfect in every way.
We had a fantastic stay in this villa. It really was a home from home with everything you could want or need. It was extremely comfortable and just as decsribed. Beds were a delight to sleep in, pool (which was heated) was wonderful and full TV channels for them nights in. The welcome pack was also a wonderful touch with everything provided tasting lovely. Chris & Lindsay were fantatstic with their communication from the booking process to our stay and Pam was just as lovely and helpful on our arrival and throughout. We have stayed in many villas in the area and this one excells in all ways, I cannot find one fault. Do not hesitate to book if its available you will not de disapointed. Thank you, we cannot wait to book again.

Fantastic - "Home from home"
Throughout the whole process, from point of booking, to any questions we had, Chris was really helpful and super responsive! The property is by far, one of the best we have stayed in, in Caleta and suited our needs to a tee! Properties of this size, with a private heated pool are difficult to find and usually too big for a family of four! The property was fully equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs (we only discovered them at the end of our stay - I'd thought the bag was a travel cot, so hadn't looked inside), all linens and way more crockery than you could ever need! A couple of observations (note these did not impact our stay - we love this property): Better lighting outside - pool area (there are a couple of solar lights, but these don't give off much light. BBQ could do with a new grill - we bought one to lay on top and ended up not using it, so hopefully future guests will benefit :-) Boosted wifi for upstairs - our teenagers couldn't get wifi upstairs (but they used data, so all good). All in all, Villa Sol gave us a great base, with everything we needed for a fantastic holiday in the sun - we will hopefully return soon!

Lovely villa
This is a lovely villa, very clean and the views from it are also lovely. It has all the amenities that you could need including a washing machine and a lovely heated pool. A welcome pack of bread, butter, jam, eggs, meat, cheese and wine is provided and is a nice touch. However you will need to buy dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid if the previous visitors haven’t left any. One problem is there is no air conditioning and when we stayed it was very hot, this meant we had to leave the curtains closed in the bedroom all day as otherwise it was stifling and we couldn’t leave the sliding door open as the bug screen was damaged and so we risked lots of bugs. A couple of fans are provided but they are old and not particularly affective. The villa is right at the top of a long hill and is not close to any shops or bars. Other reviews have said it’s a 10 minute walk to the Atlantico shopping centre but it’s more like 20 and we walk fast. We had a car so getting shopping wasn’t an issue but it was too far out for us in the way of eating out and enjoying a few drinks. We greatly enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t return purely based on location and lack of air con.

Perfect retreat
From booking to check in this was a seamless journey with excellent communication from Chris and Lindsay. Pam also attentively showed us round Villa Sol and let us know all the important things before leaving us for a week of bliss in the sun. The owners had also arranged a welcome pack of food/drink which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated with 2 teenagers! The villa itself is fantastic, and the pool is a perfect bonus. We spent most of our days by the pool and nights were used for exploring the main parts of Caleta de Fuste for eating and drinking. Although Villa Sol is on the golf campus, you're only a short taxi ride home if you don't fancy the walk (€3 approx) and there's plenty taxis. Thank you for letting us share your home. We can't wait to return!

Amazing !
We had the most amazing time here, communication from the hosts Chris and Lindsay from booking was great all the way through to travelling, any messages were answered straight away. Once arriving was met by the lovley Pam and her husband who showed us around and the welcome pack was great! The villa is beautiful and spotless inside and out, had everything you could possibly need during your stay. The outside shaded seating area was beautiful, we ate our meals out side every day. The pool was just fabulous we used it every day. The villa is in a quiet area which is just what we wanted . The only problem we had is that we didn't want to pack and come home , wish we'd have booked 2 weeks and not 1 !

A fantastic holiday!
We are just back from a fantastic stay at this villa. Communication with Chris & Lindsay was so easy & we very much appreciated the welcome pack on arrival. Pam & Mick were really helpful at the Villa too. The Villa is in an excellent location, so peaceful with beautiful views, a lovely place to unwind. It is really well equipped & clean & the pool was in constant use by us all (we have to teenagers age 19 & 16). The pictures don’t do it justice, it exceeded our expectations. Would recommend hiring a car so you can see more of the island, the sand dunes are certainly worth a visit. We will definitely be back!

Amazing well presented and quiet villa
We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Sol and would definitely stop here again. It was a very clean, tidy and well presented home on a quiet corner of Caleta yet close enough to everything you need. There was great communication from the hosts Chris and Lyndsey before we arrived with directions and general help with the app and in Fuerteventura, Pam and Mick met us at the villa and showed us how around and how things work, it is reassuring to know there was someone on island on standby if we needed them. Thank you for organising the small and thoughtful care package, it was very kind and helpful of you especially after our flight. Villa sol is such a lovely villa and the private pool is amazing and super handy! The villa had everything we needed and it was literally a home from home. A relaxing place to stay.
We really enjoyed our week with you. We loved having the afternoon/ evening sun in the garden. Ideal for a nice glass of wine and a few crisps before an evening meal. The only thing that needs improvement is that the safe didn’t work. This needs replacing if it can’t be mended. We would and will book again when we return to the island on our own.

The villa was absolutely beautiful, i had abit of a nightmare holiday so only stayed in the villa for 3 nights, the rest in hospital. Pam and Mick were a godsend they helped us with everything. The villa has everything you need, beautiful location and fantastic pool. It wouldve been a wonderful holiday if my circumstances were different but i would recommend the villa 👍 thanx chris and lesley

Easter 2022, fantastic week in a lovely villa.
Should have had this holiday 2 years ago thanks to Covid. Owners amazing, organising a refund with no quibble at all. Communication with owners has been excellent. This is a lovely villa slightly further away from amenities than first thought and without hiring a car, shopping needed forward planning but taxis are excellent and not expensive. T.V. had 1000+ channels. Pool is amazing (although lighting around the pool for night time would be helpful to avoid falling in!). Overall, a fabulous holiday, we would very much recommend staying here.

WONDERFUL VILLA
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful villa with everything we needed. The best welcome pack ever! A genuine heated pool to a perfect temperature, it was used everyday. Very clean and comfortable with gorgeous views especially the sunset. Terrace has all day sunshine with shaded area if needed & also as it is south facing it was protected from the wind. An excellent villa near a glf course
Impressed with precise instructions to locate the villa and a large welcome pack. Situated in a quiet complex, with friendly neighbours, the villa was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and wonderful views. Large shopping centre just minutes away by car. TV reception was often poor although wifi was good so that we could watch all TV programs via Virgin on our ipad. The large heated pool was well used! The weather, blue sky and gentle breeze, was the best we have had in Fuerteventura. Looking forward to booking again next year.

We have just returned from two weeks at this wonderful villa.
We are a family of four (daughters aged 6&2) and this is our first villa holiday. It was wonderful! The villa is spacious, modern, clean and has themost amazing views. It was well equipped with everything we could need. The pool was large enough for my daughter to learn to swim and was lovely and warm. There wasn’t a day when we were not in the pool! It was incredibly peaceful and we were genuinely sad to leave our home from home. We hired a car and I would say it’s advisable to do so. The local spar is about 15 minute walk away and the beach a bit further but having a car meant we could explore the island which we enjoyed. Don’t hestitate to book. Chris and Lyndsay have been really easy to communicate with and Pam the property manager was lovely. Enjoy your stay!

Excellent villa
This was our first time staying in a villa as we normally go to hotels. The villa was lovely, clean and spacious and had everything we needed. It is in a great location with only a 10-15 minutes walk to the beach and shops. The welcome pack provided by Chris and Lindsay was a lovely touch. We just stayed in villa sol and had the most relaxing holiday ever it was so peaceful 10min walk to the supermarket 3euro taxi back it’s in a excellent spot the pool was warm the garden is huge the house is very nice and clean and has everything you can think of the beds are comfortable I find the beds when you go away are terrible but these wasn’t tv at night tends to pause a lot but didn’t go away to watch tv loved it thank you so much for a perfect holiday 👍👍😊 I would definitely recommend this villa and will most likely be back there soon !!

Great property that is extremely comfortable and well equipped
Had a great stay in this well appointed house. Beds are so comfy unlike some properties we have stayed in. Heated pool is great and the outside areas gets sun all day. It’s obvious the owners take pride in the house as there’s lots of touches that make this a home from home. Pam the PM is very helpful, we had an issue with pool cleaning and she ensured the engineer came the following day . Only drawback was the neighbors were getting building works done in the garden which impacted on our stay somewhat.

Lovely quiet villa
We had a great relaxing holiday at Villa Sol. Was met by the charming Pam and really appreciated the welcome pack of wine, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and bread. The walk into Caleta only takes 15 minutes where there is a great selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Walking to the local Spar supermarket which is large enough to provide you with anything you may require takes about 10 minutes and directly outside the supermarket is a taxi rank which will cost you 3 euros. If you want a totally relaxing holiday there is no need to hire a car. Taxi from the airport to the vlla was 17 euros.

Great villa, clean, spacious and complete
We had a great holiday. The house is much larger than the photos make it look like. Very complete decorated, everything looks new. The pool is super, nice warm water, deep enough to dive in for kids. As the house is on top of the hill, the view towards the mountains is wide. You do need a car, not only for shopping at, but there is a lot to see on the island. Driving is easy and there is never any busy traffic. Caleta de Fuste is a very central location, to visit everything. We don't visit the same places very often, but if we would, we would certainly book Villa Sol again.

Fantastic villa in lovely peaceful location
We have just come back from a wonderful week in Fuerteventura. From the moment we booked there was brilliant communication from the home owners Chris and Lindsay. On arrival we were met by the lovely Pam, who told us all about the villa and where we could find things in the local area. The welcome pack was a wonderful touch too and much appreciated after a long trip. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. It was a real home from home. We spent all of our days around the pool as it was so peaceful and there was ample shade if needed. The pool was just the right temperature too. We did walk down to the town to eat on a couple of occasions, which took about 25 minutes. There were a variety of different restaurants and bars to meet all tastes. A taxi back was only around €5. Overall we had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend Villa Sol. We will hopefully return soon. Thank you Chris and Lindsay everything was perfect. Sarah

Clean, well-equipped property providing great base for exploring the island
This was our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property provides the right balance between quiet, private seclusion and easy access to Caleta and all its facilities. The heated pool is a real bonus. We were able to explore the island, knowing that we would always return to an oasis of sunny terraces, tranquility and a dip in the pool. We would recommend without hesitation.

Beautifully equiped villa with everything you could possibly need for a very relaxing break.
Last hour in the villa before departing back to a dark and chilly England. We have had a truly fabulous week at the villa. It is extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need, including some inflatables round the back of the house, most welcome in the pool. Be mindful not to lock yourselves out as we did on one occasion! However, we were soon let back in by Pam's husband after makjng a phone call. Lots of things on hand, local supermarkets and restaurants and a small beach behind the shopping centre. Overall an excellent holiday which we plan to repeat sometime next year with the grandchildren. Thank you Chris & Lindsey, 10/10 on this in every respect. Pete & Bonni

Fantastic villa in a beautiful location
We have been visiting Fuerteventura for 10 years now and this has to be the best villa and location we have stayed in. It had everything we needed around us to totally relax and the views were wonderful. We will be coming back again real soon.

Really well equipped villa with lovely pool
The villa is great, has everything you need for a relaxing break in the sunshine. We were a party of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 13 and 4). There is plenty of space and cupboards, the kitchen has everything you need and the pool kept the kids entertained and was a welcome respite from sunshine. The patio and pool is a glorious sun trap. We had a car so could get around the island easily. We found the golf club wasn’t really suitable with our 4 year old for a drink or meal but there’s plenty of choice in the town and there’s a supermarket close by. Lovley property with beautiful views
We had the best time as a party of 4 and a baby. The villa had everything we needed with nothing complicated to remember. Only a short walk (around 25 minutes) to the main bars and restaurants or a quicker 10 minutes to the shopping center. It is also very close to the beach. The gift basket left upon our arrival was a lovley touch as it saved us going to the supermarket as soon as we arrived. We will definatly be back!

Clean, well-equipped home from home just with a lot more sun and warmth
Our flight was delayed and the excellent Welcome Pack started things off on a great note. The villa was easy to find and all the photos match exactly the reality of the villa. The whole place was clean and provided everything we needed. We did not really want to be in the heart of everything so preferred this location. It is quiet, peaceful with great views. That said, we also loved the fact that you could be down the beach or in the local shopping centre in under five minutes by car. Everything about this place and our holiday was fantastic, including the fact that Chris, the owner, responded promptly throughout the whole booking process. We booked again for next year before the end of our holiday. To sum up: great place, great location.
