"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! "A lovely lodge hotel in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking and spacious rooms. Nice lounge and snooker room to relax if you didn’t want to stay in your room. If arriving by night, it’s hard to spot the hotel sign at the side of the road so it’s easy to drive straight past. The hotel restaurant serves nicely presented and beautifully cooked local produce. The menu is a little limited and pricey but the staff were friendly."

"Excellent accommodation and siting: Access track description is misleading: only accessible by 4x4: the 60m long slope is at 1:3 to 1:4 covered in loose stone. Previous failed attempts by vehicles had left ruts that made even walking up it difficult. The described steep footpath after anyone reached the parking area at the top was a doddle"

"This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit."
