"This place really needs to put up a sign that arriving guests can see. We had trouble finding the place even though our GPS had told us we had arrived. During the one day that we were there, two other couples approached us, asking us where the hotel was. One of them was driving up and down the street and the other actually knock on the door of our cottage, not realizing that they were actually already at the hotel. It turns out that there is actually a small sign on the side of the building, but...

"Owners were very nice, property outside was a little run down. Room was cheerful but no AC, they provided a fan. Breakfast was good but a little awkward and ar extra charge. No shower but tub has hose wand, good hot water. Short walk to Monet's house and gardens. Eat early at least by 5pm as all the shops and restaurants close at 6pm except for the hotel a shorr walk away."

"It opened our eyes to how busy the Seine River is asa major trading route, and how attractive the Seine Valley is. The hotel was an ideal place to get to Giverny easily and we enjoyed 2 full days in Giverny, including a visit to Monet's garden and house. The château de Roche Gayon was a most interesting piece of history in the Seine Valley. "
