"Part of the charm of this great B&B is finding and getting to it. The road gets narrower and narrower, and you are very aware of the charms of rural Ireland. The B&B was well maintained and clean. There is a den downstairs and access to an outdoor space, but we did not use during stay. Our room was basic but very comfortable, spacious enough for two beds, and had a lovely view. "Hosts were very personable and approachable. Breakfast offerings were first rate. Although situated on a main thoroughfare, the bnb was quiet and very clean. Could use a few more towels in the room and mysteriously (for the hosts and the guests), water supply was shut off without warning at 8 a.m. and lasted for several hours. Fortunately, we were headed out for the day. "

"I’d like to say that our experience met our expectations on this property, but it actually exceeded it. The property was remote and extremely peaceful, with direct access to a beach for long walks. There were 5 family members and the house was quite spacious. It was exactly what we were looking for. Dermot was an absolute gentleman of a host, and was quick to reply to any concerns or questions we had. We definitely plan to return to Dolphin Cottage!"
