"Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. "This is a great little house. Everything was awesome! The property manager is friendly and helpful. I would stay here anytime I wanted to hangout at Possum Kingdom Lake. It was perfect for us as we were doing a bicycle rally in Graham. But if you plan to visit Possum Kingdom State Park it’s on the opposite side of the lake and a bit of a drive."
