"I did the 1 night cruise and the whole experience was excellent. The administration (Anna) was very friendly and efficient and the logistics for the shuttle were clear. Once on board, the staff were very kind and attentive, the cabin was comfortable and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the excursions, particularly the caves and hiking. "We hired the whole boat and that made it an even more magical experience! Halong bay was amazing, but the Aman Junk boat experience was amazing. Boat was a big run down, but staff were very accommodating and friendly. Meals were amazing. Only problem was Expedia advertised meals etc included but it was all extra!"

"For the price of a hostel, this hotel was a comfortable and convenient choice. Breakfast included, the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Being and older building the noise from within the hotel can be quite loud but ear plugs will fix that. The toilet may talk to you during the night due to the older plumbing system. (sounds only)"

"The room was definitely not as good as the pictures made it look. We got a room with two beds. One of the beds had ants in it! The bathroom had a bathtub, but as soon as you turn on the water, the bathroom floods because the tub is just for show... the drain is in the middle of the bathroom. we didn't take a shower. The room was cold and no way to turn on a heater, had to sleep in our jackets. Half the time there was no one at the front desk. I'd suggest walking into town to see what's...
