"Fantastically clean property with very comfortable rooms and bed. Excellent kitchen with all amenities, good bathroom (with washing machine as well). It's in a quieter residential area uphill from St Goar train station so quite a steep walk if you don't have a car. Steffi the owner was really helpful and friendly and picked me up from the train station with my cases and offered to take me to places like supermarkets for food. A really great place to stay. "This is the second time we have stayed as my sister lives nearby. Spotlessly clean again and the hosts were there to check us in early. Gunter and Ulrika are so kind to our children, letting them play with toys in their house and garden. Nice touches are added like wine on arrival and snacks and chocolate for the kids. A home from home."

Plus it is a very safe and secure neighbourhood. The property was very clean, well equipped, and exactly as advertised. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!"

"What a great stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy including picking us up and dropping us back at the train station. The apartment itself is beautiful and has everything you could need to be comfortable. We wish we had added another day to our trip just to stay in the apartment and look out over the vineyards. Hannelore pointed out a good restaurant just up the road for us to have dinner and a bakery for breakfast, both of which were amazing....

"Our 4 night stay in Trechtingshausen was everything we had hoped for and more. The house was spacious, immaculate and very well appointed. The garden is beautiful and provides immediate access to a network of hiking trails that are well worth the effort. We rented e-bikes in nearby Bingen and cycled along the Rhine and into the nearby neighbouring towns, vineyards and historic sites. The Burg Reichenstein is within walking distance and should not be missed. In addition to Bingen, the local train...

"Liebevoll restaurierte Wohnung mit maximaler Gemütlichkeit. Wohnung liegt zentral, perfekt um schnell in die Natur zu gelangen. Sehr nette und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber, außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!"

"Die Wohnung hält was sie auf den Bildern verspricht. Sie ist gemütlich, super sauber und bis ins kleinste Detail liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten jede Menge entdecken, sei es die Popcorn Maschine, die Schreibmaschine oder natürlich die Wärmekabine :-) wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt!"

Diese helle, freundliche Ferienwohnung ist großzügig geschnitten, sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Jede von uns hatte ein eigenes Schlafzimmer. Es gibt ein separates Wohnzimmer und ein extra Esszimmer. Besonders genossen haben wir die beiden Balkone nach Osten und Westen - letzterer mit Blick über die Weinberge - herrlich! However as the former guests had vacated the apartment several days earlier the building’s heating system was turned off, and only turned back on once we checked in. As the apartment is on the ground floor and a large portion is below ground in this lovely old building the apartment never really warmed up. Combined with warm Autumn days and cold nights the heating shut down during the day and never reached a comfortable temperature in the evenings. A...

"Wir können uns den vorherigen Rezensionen nur anschließen. Die Ferienwohnung mit dem wunderschönen Freiluftzimmer ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Vermieter waren immer auf eine angenehme Weise um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht (danke nochmal für die Feigen und Trauben). Ein kleiner ungewöhnlicher Ausflugstipp von uns ist die Felsenerimitage bei Bretzenheim. Sehr beeindruckend. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche. Frank und Monika"

"We had a rental car, but there are two bus stops close by which would be great for those who need public transportation. The apartment is up two flights of stairs, so that needs to be noted for those with mobility issues. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant. We appreciated the free WIFI and the coffee maker! The owner responded quickly to questions."

"We spent a week in Idstein. The town is really pretty and the apartment is comfortable although it is quite hilly so the walk into town was certainly good exercise! Plenty of hiking and cycling paths. Good choice of restaurants in the town. Lovely landlady!"
