"We were in the area to do music for a wedding. This cabin is very nice. I personally think it is a little over decorated and cluttered. A few things didn't work properly. But that didn't effect our stay. Still a nice place, spacious, just needs a little TLC. It is for sale so this may be the reason things appeared to need some attention. Drive way is a little difficult to navigate."

"This place is super cute! We absolutely fell in love with this place. The receptionist kept in contact with us about everything. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed the night we arrived, But they gave us a great list of places to choose from for dinner. We didn't feel like getting all dolled up after driving so long, so we ended up at Friskos (I think that's what its called) in the same parking as The Oldtime Pub. "In the room it would be awesome to have luggage racks at least two in the room area and one in bathroom! I had to set my things on the chairs and I didn’t prefer to do that! It was an awesome historical building! Would be great if the description told me that my room would be right in the middle of Bourbon St Grille- my room windows were right up against diners- I could hear them talking! The good parts outweighed the above! "

"We had to attend funeral and once we did, we played to make it a positive trip. Lamb was superb. Breakfast was just right and eggs were made to order. Very homey type place and met some very nice people. Felt safe and serene. I would consider it a very adult property with regard to charm and quietness."
