Es gibt neben einem großen, sauberen Pool oder gepflegten Strandabschnitt etliche Möglichkeiten den Aufenthalt kulinarisch zu genießen. Auch abends wird man schön unterhalten und kann in die griechische Kultur mit Musik und Tanz eintauchen. Der Urlaub hat uns so sehr gefallen, dass wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen möchten und dann gerne ein paar Tage länger. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!!"

"Everything is exactly as you expect! All of the staff we have interacted with have been the most caring and attentive people I have ever met, especially at the Makuti bar day in day out they even recommended us some films to watch. The pictures of the place you see are exactly what you get. If you are like us and do not often experience people waiting on you hand and foot it’s a surreal experience but something that makes the trip So amazing. The dining experience - just WOW! Food I have never tasted to be so amazing! Always have the lamb medium rare you won’t regret it. Welcome drinks on arrival and they let you enjoy everything how you want to not how they expect you too. I can’t thank everyone enough for my stay it’s been something I’ll never forget and nothing will live up to this. If you have the chance to come - you won’t regret it!! "

"Lots of nice pools including a full olympic sized lap pool and many other various pools. Lots of water slides, pools, and playgrounds for kids. Great food in the main dining hall, and several nice restaurants (all are buffet style but the food was very good). Well kept, smoothly run, friendly staff."

"We had a wonderful holiday at Bella Beach. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. It benefits from being a smaller hotel, when compared with some of the adjacent properties. We stayed in late October, so the hotel was naturally quieter, but there was still plenty on offer for guests, and particularly for families. A couple of the noted facilities (mini golf etc.) are no longer available on site, but that didn't detract from our stay. The location is also good; 20mins drive from Heraklion airport and within 60-90mins of many of the popular attractions. Our only observation is that some guests may feel that the five-star rating is misleading, but I think that's possibly a subjective point. This is a quality hotel, but it isn't the high-end luxury that some might expect of five stars. However, it is still excellent and, frankly, suited us better as a family just the way it was. "

"We just got back from Crete. The Royal Belvedere Resort offers various pools, dining and recreation options for couples and families. We really went for the Olympic 50 meter swimming pool. We swim laps and this was a challenge as our regular pool is 25 meters. Also we went a little off season. Food was good and plenty of it. We also took a taxi to the Old Hersonissos village and walked back. My wife had a great time shopping by the beach area shops. We will go back."
