The owners have made great attempts to renovate the buildings without taking the feeling of being transported to a previous time when Hawaii was more rural and unexplored. "Two families celebrating a couple of high school grads, were delighted by the unique, secluded, log cabin in Hawaii. The log cabin had plenty of room for the 8 of us, with plenty of room for privacy. We were able to prep meals for all, when dining in, with the plentiful appointments, supplies and resources. "A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. "Loved the property and the facilities and the personnel. It’s very windy as it is on a hill which is a plus. Wild Turkeys are wondering around which gives it more character. The only downsize it is far from Kona Kailua downtown area and there are not that many dinning options yet that’s not their fault. "
