Beautiful big rooms, comfortable bed, very friendly polite and professional staff Convenient parking attached at at Stephens shopping centre. £8 for overnight stay when paid for and validated at reception. Only thing that let it down was the breakfast, specifically cooked breakfast. The kitchen didn’t seem to be able to keep up with cooking and refilling elements of the breakfast. I was told between 10 and 15 minutes for replacement items to be ready...

"I love village hotels. I think they're the best chain to stay in. Always good standards with great facilities. However, although we had a nice stay, and the staff as always were great, this one has seen much better days. It was very worn and looked tired. The carpets throughout need replacing. Wallpaper was coming off the walls in the halls. Our rooms were nice, but just need a bit of tlc. A nice stay, but the hotel needs some love"

"Perfect location to visit Hull Uni. Parking available. Room was Ok but one ceiling light was not working. The bathroom was clean but needed some t.l.c. Bedroom was a good size and clean. good facilities. bed mattress was too soft for my wife and I but comfortable. Outside lights to the back of the property were still on around 1..30 pm which disturbed our sleep pattern a bit. In the morning 2 delivery lorries arrived (separately) and had some difficulty manoeuvring onto the rear car park. Might...

"Nice hotel. All was great my only pick would the noise from other rooms doors closing. Could do with some soft of soft close system. "

"On arrival given room key which didn’t work call reception lady came to open the door she couldn’t taken to another room her key still didn’t work finally got another key the next day the keys still didn’t work had 3 in total was told that the battery would be changed in the door no one did this , the shower wouldn’t turn off had to call someone to do this, was told over the phone that we’d be able to get snacks but closed on the Friday night all in all not great!!!!"
