"The Beds need updating "

"Nice clean room, with a good location. Heater wasn’t big enough to get heat into all rooms. "

"It could do with a slight renovation. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, some mould was present on the bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately, there were 2 separate taps in the bathroom basin and kitchen sink, one for hot water and one for cold. So you can’t really wash your hands in warm water unless you plug the sink up and mix the water in there. They did say it was going to be replaced soon so it might be done the next time we go there. Overall, we liked the room as it was large and clean....

"I had a large suite, which was warm and light. Very quiet too, considering it's on the main road. The bed and pillows were really firm, so I didn't sleep too well. Unfortunately reception seemed a little unimpressed with everything and wasn't the most cheerful. Might have caught her on a bad day. Good location, near all the other motels, relatively short walk to town and just across the road from Countdown."

"Great price and recently upgraded. Good facilities in the room. Was fully booked out but nice and quiet. Owners nice enough."

"Staff were very accommodating as when we booked online and the booking page gave us a room that had been vacated that day, but not cleaned. Staff were happy to clean it at late notice for us so we could have a room for the night. Very basic accommodation but it was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced compared to others in Invercargill. "

"Arrived on a bleak Invercargill day, completely underdressed for the weather, was invited for early check in so i could get changed. upon arrival the heater had been switched on so the room was nice and warm. Room was cosy, warm and clean. Parking was great. Highlight of staying here was the hosts, they were attentive, friendly and had some great recommendations on food and activities. Thanks for hosting us."
