"We were in town for the Kentucky Three Day Event and wanted a place to enjoy beautiful Kentucky after a day at the horse park. This cottage was perfect and was a quiet place to retreat to conveniently close to the horse park and good places for dinner. The cottage is clean, the property is beautiful, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. While the hideaway is small and completely open except the bathroom, we slept well and ate well and enjoyed the super easy access to the hot tub. The directions even made it easy to find. We didn't think to pack a dish cloth or sponge for washing dishes which would have been nice but there were enough towels for both showering and the hot tub. "This was a great place to get away and is a nice and private location. It had all we needed and the hot tub was a plus. The management was great to work with and very responsive when we had any questions or issues. The location is great for local hiking - though there was a forest fire at Natural Bridge State Park that closed the area to any recreational activities and access. "This spot was perfect for a quick Bourbon tour getaway for 4 of us. The property was exactly as shown on VRBO and had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the hot tub and the huge variety of games. The owner was super responsive to questions and requests. We’re used to one bathroom so that wasn’t a deal breaker, but it’s rather on the small side. We visited the Ark Encounter and we were able to bring our own food to cook so we didn’t have to eat out for 2 days.
