We love staying at historic inns when we take trips, and this place may have been the nicest, most well kept that we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. The location is perfect; easy walking distance anywhere, and if you prefer to reach farther areas, they have bike rental for a fair price. "Hotel and staff was exceptional with one exception. The bartender cut off service after two drinks. He embarrassed me. I’m a loud talker and was dancing to the music. He took that as being drunk. It was uncomfortable afterwards we left a day early. The manager did agree to refund last night stay. "

"We came for a two night first time visit to Key West. It's a great Bed and Continent Breakfast place. Great staff and we lucked out with an early check-in after a sunrise drive from Miami. We accidentally missed an item in the room while checking. Got a text from the managers who offered to mail it. That's was a great offer because orher places would have just held it and kept it for themselves. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. It was a great place to stay. "

"We had a fabulous stay at the Duval Gardens, now part of the Southernmost Beach Resort Hotel (guesthouses) Great location and the breakfast in the morning on the porch was lovely. The beds were a little firm for our liking but other then that the stay was perfect. Kimberly took great care of us and made the stay even better! "

"Accidentally left my Keys in my room, but I called Mari's emergency number and was given a lock box code to get a key to get back in my room. The whole process took about 5 minutes. Mari has a great demeanor, great smile .Nice joyful personality. I will call Caribbean House on my Next trip down to Key West.🙂🙂🙂"

"This property was perfect for us. We were walking distance from everywhere. Marilyn and Kadie were terrific. They were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our chats with them at breakfast. The rooms were recently renovated and our room was beautiful. The bed was very comfy too. We were upgraded from the Avalon to another house at 1012 Duval and I’m glad we were as we preferred the location of the house we stayed in. Breakfast was great and fresh and plentiful. "We had broken blinds on our door that I had to cover with a washcloth for privacy. They should’ve been replaced along with the broken blinds on our window. Also, one ceiling fan could only operate on low…. A higher speed and it would vibrate to the point of concern. Having said that, we very much enjoyed our stay, and would absolutely stay again."

It a large house and you have a room to stay in with your own bathroom, small kitchen and bed. It was perfect for us. We will definitely be back next time we visit Key West. "This property is no frills but provides everything you need. The location is great, the two room split provides privacy, pool was great and the bikes provided allow for cruising around the island. Tanya was very responsive. Would stay here again."
