Great location and B and B

We had a fabulous stay at the Duval Gardens, now part of the Southernmost Beach Resort Hotel (guesthouses) Great location and the breakfast in the morning on the porch was lovely. The beds were a little firm for our liking but other then that the stay was perfect. Kimberly took great care of us and made the stay even better!

Our stay was great! Room was clean, in a great location and the staff was friendly. Bed was really comfortable and the shower was good. Perfect place to stay for when you’re out and about in Key West and need a comfortable home base!

Duval Garden's is wonderful.

Duval Gardens was recommended by a friend. Perfect location for us. Close enough to walk or bike to everything but quiet. Cab from airport and rented bicycles. No need for a car. Parking is limited and expensive. We rode our bicycles all around the island. So much to see and Duval Gardens is in the center of everything. Room was clean, had everything we wanted, breakfast had a variety, pool was wonderful after a day at the beach. Staff very professional and helpful. This property does not allow children which was our preference for this trip. We stayed Monday thru Friday which was plenty of time for us to see everything we wanted to, have beach time, eat and drink at all of the popular spots and find some local favorites. Rates increase on most weekends. Night life is booming but we did not hang out in bars too late. We would head back to Duval Garden’s and sit outside with a drink and could not hear the loud bar music 4 blocks away. Mornings are very peaceful and relaxing.

The staff at duval gardens was amazing! So helpful and extremely friends. They made you feel like you were staying right at home. The breakfast each morning was also very good and enjoying it on their front porch was even better. We will definitely be staying here again in the further and would recommend to anyone.

After I booked, the hotel apparently changed hands. When I arrived for check-in, I was required to accepted a "amenities fee" for the resort that now owned the facility, even though the amenities were elsewhere. I was also charged for parking, which wasn't mentioned by your site. $63 per day additional. None of the TVs were working, but no one seemed to care. The new resort owner, least of all, was concerned about my issues. Avoid Southernmost Beach Resort at all costs.

Duval Gardens at Southern Most Beach Resort

Staff was extremely friendly at the Guesthouse. Don't be fooled by the name, it is only part of the Beach Resort by name only, access to the beach resort amenities cost an additional $45 per day. Room was small but cozy. TV did not work the entire trip and half of the outlets in the room did not work. Part of the floor felt like you would fall through but luckily we did not. It is a decent little place to stay but now they have raised the prices I would look elsewhere.

The room floor was slanted about 5 degrees so that when sleeping, you head was below your feet. Pretty uncomfortable. The tv did not work. The other guest stayed up and talked outside the room on the balcony until 1 a.m.

Couldn’t ask for much more…

Just a heads up - we were booked to stay in the guest houses - but, they’re old and have not been renovated just yet. As a result, we moved to the main Southernmost Resort - where it had been renovated and was both more convenient and a better experience. The room and bathroom was excellent and your trip down Duvall Street was just steps away…not to mention, the private beach area and waterside dining was right there too! Oh, and the roosters everywhere…now, that’s different…

Little piece of heaven

Loved our stay. Great location, walking to everything. BUT, the best part was Kimberly! So friendly, personable and attentive. Can’t wait to go back

Close to everything but still quiet

Sweet older B&B close to all the hotspots in Key West. Rooms were decently sized, large bathrooms. The rooms do have a bit of musty smell but were clean - I think it was more related to the overall dampness of the island. Parking provided by B&B is tight - wouldn't recommend a SUV or larger sedan. Breakfast on the front porch was fun - food provided was your standard continental selection.

The workers are outstanding in everyway. Location excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty choices. Room AC was great. Price was good 330. per night for Fantasy fest in October.

Cute friendly place to stay.

The place is cute & Kimberly at the front desk is amazing and so friendly. The parking in the whole town is pretty much paid parking. We got a scooter for 3 of our days & we could find free parking with that. Our golf cart was $20 to park it in the lots so we switched to the scooter.

Excellent ! Love my room , very clean , cozy and it’s facing the pool . The staff esp the manager is very kind and helpful. She prepared my Bfast that early per request as I’m heading to Dry Tortugas the next day . It’s in Duval street so everything is walkable . Now I know where to stay every time I visit Key west . Highly recommended to my friends and co workers !
