"My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...

"Lovely theming! The grounds need a rethink - replace worn grass in high foot traffic areas with paving so that guests don’t end up with dirty feet, dirty sun lounges and dirty pool towels.
