"Joao Miguel (sorry didn't catch his last name) who checked us in gave us a very good first impression of Lisbon and the whole hotel. He was courteous and insightful, he provided a city map, and gave us a detail summary of the city on where to visit, what part of town is old, new and where the landmarks were. he was very helpful. "Altis is in a very convenient area of Lisbon within an easy work to the Barrio Alto and the downtown area. The hotel is first rate; I've been going there for years. Tho only drawback this time was that we had reserved a king size bed and they did not have one available, which they should have saved for us. The breakfast buffet is wonderful! "
