"Our greeting was cold and offhand. We were asked too pay cash, and when I objected, there might have been an option for debit card.. in the end we found cash, we were shown the room and left alone. Next morning we found breakfast but didn’t see anyone , these people are definitely not in the hospitality business, more the take the money and run business!!"

"Barrow Lodge was a a great place to stay for our golfing vacation to visit Tralee and Ballybunion golf clubs. "We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time!
