"My friend and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Chateau is well situated for visiting the area. Arudy, the village just south is charming and has restaurants, gas stations and supermarkets. It is easy to get to great hikes and attractions. Elizabeth is quite helpful in suggesting places to go. The Chateau itself is beautiful. "No one to let us in, another guest opened the lockbox. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was complete, shower was good. Breakfast was help yourself, bread, jams, yoghurts, orange juice, tea and coffee, but no milk! Kitchen was well equipped, oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee makers, etc. Bedroom was quiet with blackout shutters and a small french television. "The location is very good to access the sanctuary. The staff is friendly and helpful. The included parking is a bit far away (250m uphill), but street parking is easy to find nearby and free overnight. The facilities are a bit old, but clean. Included breakfast was also very good. The overall value for price is very good. A great option if all you are looking for is a place to sleep while visiting the sanctuary."

"On arrival we were told that they were overbooked (admitted it was their mistake), we were taken to another house which was about 5k away. Which was comfortable enough for one night. There was plenty food and wine but the food was very simple fare.On our final evening we were told food would not be available, so had to eat in a restaurant about 5k away, we think we would like to try Chambres D'hote again as we enjoyed sharing a meal with all the other guests."

"Spacious apartments conveniently located just on the edge of the chaos that is Lourdes. There is a large free parking lot across the street. Arriving on a Sunday, we had to do self check in which was well organized. My only complaint is that the room desperately needed a deep clean. The floors, bed, bathroom etc were clean and I had no concerns about sleeping here, but the baseboards and walls were coated in a layer of dust and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. "
