"Great venue, nice big room, lovely breakfast well worth the extra £12.50. The room was great value and my only tiny niggle was the creaky floorboards in our room and others close by. But it’s an old building so probably why."

"This was the second time we have stayed here. It is a hotel in a listed building. The rooms are a little smaller than you might like but are very well presented. A listed building, so no air conditioning, small windows, no views and no lift. Bedrooms are all on the first floor so no good if you can't get up stairs. Would have been nice if the young man in reception had offered to help with the luggage as we were obviously pensioners. Location is perfect, just a walk across a bridge...
