"Stayed for a long weekend with a partner and dog. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and provided daily walks and info which was really helpful! Beautiful spot and super dog friendly, with dog washing facilities as well as complimentary sausage for your dog at breakfast and doggy box in the room on arrival provided towels / dog blankets and bowl. We will definitely stay again! "

"We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious."

"Only went for a night away and a good meal, Never been before, Room was very good and immaculate. Lovely gardens near the river for use in summer. Got to say one of the best meals we have had for ages. Mushrooms and bruschetta for starters, lasagne and fajita's for mains. Gentle hint share a starter, mains huge but both wonderful and drinks well priced. Party of 24 in for a birthday meal but didn't affect our service at all. "This old coaching inn has been well revamped, service is first class. The food was excellent with good response to individual needs. Although pricey the rooms were up to a high standard. The roll top bath, with no screen, was a triumph of design over functionality. There was nowhere to put the soap! Having a shower without flooding the floor was tricky. The Chef produced first class dishes on every occasion. "

"My sister and I meet up once a year and we had a lovely stay. I got the booking wrong and forgot to ask for twin beds and they sorted it out for us. So accommodating. Lovely place for exploring Coalport and ironbridge. "

"The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! "

"The stay was good. Easy to check in. Convenient location. Clean and good quality for the price paid. However i have stayed in the same room before and the hot tap in the basin worked. Not on this stay at all. There was hot water from the shower, but if you wanted a wet shave, bad luck! "

"Huggins Cottage is one of the loveliest places we've stayed, and by far the best cared for. We were made to feel welcome every step of the way, from booking to leaving. "The house is located in a quiet and secluded area and is impressive as you approach from the drive. The games room is helpful and reasonably well appointed although showing signs of being "well used" Whilst providing reasonable value for money, typically the kitchen could do with updating and providing a more comprehensive range of cooking utensils. Providing one (average quality) bath towel and one hand towel (plus bed linen) at (an additional) £10 each person seems somewhat odd given how many...
