"This is a nice romantic retreat (log fire in lounge), quiet and set in the woods and pretty gardens and well cared for. Nice place for a meditative retreat or base for walking. Very good wifi. The owner is very helpful and pleasant but not always on site. Apart from no TV or central hotel reception, the apartment was a good size and well equipped, especially the kitchen. Kept clean and fresh. I was alone there on business and unfortunately hit the worst weather imaginable (cold, battering rain...

"Mein Mann und ich haben drei wunderbare Wochen in der Casa de Ponte verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, liegt ruhig und ist gut ausgestattet. Man findet Gewürze, Essig und Öl, Küchenrolle, Spüli, Seife, Waschmittel und noch einiges mehr. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden wöchentlich gewechselt. Zur Begrüßung stand ein gut gefüllter Obstkorb in der Küche. Auf der oberen Terrasse gibt es Liegen, Tisch, Stühle und einen Sonnenschirm. Dort haben wir fast jeden Abend gegessen und den Sonnenuntergang...

"The house was lovely and clean and well presented in a lovely garden setting. The pool was incredibly clean and sun loungers and towels provided. nice communal spaces for BBQ and eating outside. Enough on site parking in a secured garden area. Kitchen could benefit from some baking trays and a toaster, but everything else was provided. "The garden was lovely with a nice secluded spot for sunbathing. The house was nice. The balcony having lovely views over towards the sea. The locals are very friendly. However the house was a little dusty and there could be more attention to the cleaning in the bedroom. The washing machine was not working which was more of an inconvenience."

"Part II of my Review The small community of Loreto where the Casa is located, has one main street with several bars, an appliance shop, a market, and a grocery store. The grocery is well stocked (and there is also a chain of large modern groceries scattered around the island). We enjoyed Sunday service at the Catholic Church in town with its outside pews. We also especially enjoyed discovering the network of verada that connected homes and gardens in the terrraced hillsides. Suddenly, at the end...

"Sehr schön, sehr groß, gute Lage für Ausflüge. Gestört hat allerdings eins Pumpe, die dich nachts sehr häufig eingeschaltet hat und sehr laut war. Es war zwar noch sehr frisch morgens und abends und alles etwas klamm, doch standen genügend Heizlüfter zur Verfügung!"

"Leontina is a delightful host! The property is on the top floor of her home with astounding views across the valley and to the ocean. Everything meticulously clean and everything you could need provided including wood burner. Traditional decor, beds very comfy. The road outside is very steep- my 80+ year old parents managed but might not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Thank you so much we loved our stay and your kindness shone through x"
