"Property was excellent in all areas that mattered to us as seniors. Clean comfort facilities and appliances accessible and access to management when necessary. The township and people were lovely, freely sharing information and knowledge. Weather on this occasion was perfect. Our only criticism is really one for council and authorities to improve. "I really enjoyed staying in Kate and Felicity's space. The bath and being able to have a fire were treats and I love the history of the place, and all the love and care that Kate put into restoring the miners cottages. Though this cottage is not old, much care has been taken to create old world charm within it. I didn't anticipate the road noise, but overall it didn't disturb the tranquility for me. Waking to birdsong was a joy."

"We really loved our stay at the property. The house is charming, with spacious and comfortable living areas and a newly refurbished kitchen, well equipped for self catering. Our favourite was the big, open deck with lovely views - a great spot for kangaroo and bird watching. "Lovely property, renovated (but not "restored") to high standard but modern electricals (great wifi, TV) and kitchen/baths. Spacious home, multiple eating areas, quiet street, and with a terrific host. Maldon is a charming small town and well-located to see the goldfields area. Only downside is there are only a couple of places in the town proper to dine out (Castlemaine is close). But a great place with all creature comforts."
