About this property

Cosy Heritage Cottage in Newstead, Central to Daylesford, Maldon & Castlemaine

  • Set in peaceful Newstead—a charming riverside town—you are ideally placed to explore the iconic streets of Maldon, Castlemaine and Daylesford. Relax in the quiet garden by the water feature for a restful stay.

Perfect for two couples or a romantic getaway, with two queen bedrooms, full equipped kitchen, and a rare romantic double-shower wet room.

    PETS
We welcome your pet—after all, they’re part of the family.
There are just a few things to keep in mind:
Please bring your pet’s own bed. It helps them feel more at home.
Pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture.

Pets must not be left alone in the cottage. A new place can feel a little overwhelming for them, and we’d hate for your furry family member to feel anxious while on holiday.

Our charming period cottage is tucked just over the Loddon River in Newstead. While the backyard (152 m²) is fenced, there’s a park directly across the road and farmland and bushland nearby — which can be very exciting for curious noses! So please keep dogs on a lead when out and about, and make sure they’re supervised in the backyard.

    RECOMMEND TOUR
Aboriginal Elder Uncle Rick led cultural tour offers an authentic immersion into ancient traditions and practices.
