"My husband and I stayed at the Weems creek cottage for a childless getaway weekend. Everything was excellent, from communication with Jim, to the gorgeous property and the time we had in the city of Annapolis. Not to mention the weather was nice! "It was me, my son and my sister staying. The grounds were beautiful, and we fed the goats too! It was late season, so no pool or any relaxing outdoors. Brrr. Traffic is light in the area so it was easy to get in a 2+ mile walk and see the local neighborhoods. As it was mentioned in the listing (but not obvious in the photos), you have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom, and the door to the upstairs bath doesn't offer total privacy. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. "Nicely redone two BR cottage, lots of space in LR for pull out couch (my son found it was decent quality 👍). Wonderful to have a water view from both the front and back decks - short walk to the water (6 houses back?). Treats on arrival were a kind bonus. Even though it rained a few days, found things to do (wineries, Amish Market, Chesapeake City). No stores very close, so bring food - but also ate at the local Beach Bar — Fun group of neighbors around the bar (like Cheers!). Next door...
