"I was concerned as to why there were no reviews on this place yet, so just wanted to leave one for anyone else who's considering it. This cottage was spotless, with beautiful views. The beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure and hot water (we've stayed at some where that was not the case), host(ess) was so sweet and kind, check in was easy, check-out was easy, it has been updated, so all fresh and new. Very handy to Wicklow and my 2 nephews that were traveling with my brother and I enjoyed the beach and the open grassy areas where they could kick around their new soccer ball. "We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "We were very disappointed with the accommodation.it was very basic with rust and mildew around the shower and on the soap tray in the shower. Kitchen was basic and it seemed most things like the kettle were old and needed replacing. Beds quite uncomfortable and bedding well used. There was mildew on one mattress cover on part tucked under the bed. The towels were very thin and hard with big stains on some of them.
