Family friendly retreat
We loved our time at the Stone Cottage. Catherine was such a wonderful host and took so much time to answer our 101 questions about the gorgeous calves we were so lucky to meet and help feed during our visit. The house was perfectly located so close to Kinsale, and Catherine shared lots of recommendations on where to spend time. The house was clean and comfortable and Catherine left delicious home-baked scones, milk, butter, tea and coffee. We view was also breathtaking. We will certainly be back! Thanks again for having us all!

A Week in Kinsale
The property owner was very helpful - even purchased some gluten free bread for my gluten intolerate wife. She was a wealth of information on tourist attractions in southern Ireland. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay at this accomodation. The weather was cold and wet and we even experienced the "Katherine" storm which curtailed some of our tourism activities

Fantastic!
We really enjoyed our stay! The entire cottage was spotlessly clean. It was wonderful having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and plenty of space. Catherine is extremely kind and hospitable. She left us mouthwatering scones and gave us a lot of great info on arrival. We wish we could have stayed more than two nights!

This was the highlight of our weeklong stay in Ireland! Catherine was a lovely host, and the accommodations were idyllic if you truly want to experience the Irish countryside, right up to my children getting to feed baby calves!! The location was beautiful, and the rental was perfect. Catherine's recommendations for things to do in and around Kinsale were fantastic. I highly recommend this property!

Amazing stay!
We absolutely loved staying here! The cottage was so comfortable to stay in and the host Catherine was so nice and helpful. She had so many good recommendations and we loved the town of Kinsale. The area is beautiful and the property at the rental is so amazing. There’s also so many cute animals! We will definitely go back and wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a fabulous stay at Catherine’s. The stables were clean, well furnished and welcoming. Catherine had made scones and left some milk and tea/coffee etc all which was very much appreciated. Catherine herself was lovely, full of useful information about the local area. And so accommodating, she helped us out with a lift, when we had taxi problems. The stables are around a 50 minute walk into Kinsale, via a nice scenic walk and some well timed pub stops, but only a 5 minute drive. Kinsale is lovely and well worth a visit - some great independent shops and restaurants. And fabulous pints of Guinness to be had! 😊

Lovely location near Fort Charles
A very clean and comfortable property close to Fort Charles and Kinsale. Our family of 5 loved our stay here. Catherine was very informative and everything you might need had been thought of. Very comfortable cosy beds. Great shower pressure. All you need in the kitchen to cook. Definitely recommend.

Spacious, comfortable cottage in a lovely location, just a few minutes drive from both Charles Fort and the centre of Kinsale. Catherine is a lovely host, lots of advice on things to see and do and the little added touch of milk, scones and butter waiting for us on arrival!
