Stayed one night here and was very happy with it. We flew in on a red-eye and popped in to drop our luggage, and we were offered early check in as they had a room available! Above and beyond service! Clean room, excellent breakfast with wonderful staff. Easy walk to downtown. Highly recommend.

I am not one to leave reviews, especially poor ones. However, I was pretty disappointed with our stay here. I’ve done quite a bit of traveling and this was my first stay in Ireland And so I did not know what to expect. Upon landing early morning and arriving at the hotel with two young children, we had asked if our room would be available prior to regular check in time. To our luck, the staff was supportive and providing us with a room with only a few minutes wait. Of course we’re happily relieved and grateful for this. That said, the room was unpleasantly ready for us. The sink faucet felt as if it was ready to fall off every time we attempted to turn it on. The toilet would barely flush with significant pressure placed on the flusher. And would flush only a few times with every use. And oh the dust. It was very obvious that perhaps this was a room that had been neglected or inhabited for quite some time. There was visible dust in the corners of the room. When looking for my daughter’s small toy that had fallen to the floor near the bed, it was a gross spectacle of dust under the bed. I can understand if there is not enough room to get underneath a bedframe, in this case, there was significant room and the beds had wheels that allowed the beds to be easily rolled away from the wall. Given our trip is in the summer and that it was a cooler one, we were thankful for the weather because there was no air conditioning in the room to our surprise. Very noisy room&construction.

We got to the hotel quite late so went straight to bed. When we woke in the morning our view was a solid brick wall out of the window. I spoke to reception and it was no problem, they moved us to a lovely spacious room with great facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is coneniently located to be able to walk into the city. Will definitely return :-)

The room was fine but a bit sparse. Entry and restaurant just fine. The area around was typical of Dublin when not in the center — slightly seedy and uneven, but not at all scary. More lively areas are a 15 minute walk away. The hotel is a very good deal for what and where it is.

The staff at The Maldron helped us settle in and made sure we had everything we needed! The front desk was so kind and welcoming. The restaurant was very convenient and had delicious food and a friendly, helpful staff. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable!

Lovely room but was awaken each night with loud music. One night the room next to us had a fight where they were screaming and shouting at midnight. Throwing things around the room. It was so bad that the bed physically moved as they argued. I rang reception who thought sorted the problem until they returned again at 3.30 in the morning. No follow up from staff.
