Overall the hotel was fine. Everything felt clean, the bed was comfortable, & the proximity to the airport is great for early flights. I’d stay again, depending on if they are open - they had a large fire the night after my stay.
I was disappointed to find no toiletries available at the front desk after realizing I’d forgotten my bag with toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner items at home. There was a vending machine available to purchase a mini toothpaste (smaller than a dental office sample) for €5. There was a gentleman working who was very nice & pointed out where I could walk to a convenience store. Being nighttime & alone, I wasn’t comfortable walking the unfamiliar area, but he said it was safe. I felt the woman working at the front desk was somewhat rude. She seemed very bothered that I asked for basic toiletries. (The gentleman brought shower gel up.) Also, the woman didn’t tell the airport shuttle to wait for some guests who were trying to pay for their trip to the airport, which they’d already reserved. She didn’t try to stop the shuttle bus or call it back for them. She told them they should just call a cab, that would be cheaper since the shuttle bus would cost the two of them €20. This was not true as the shuttle bus is €5 return. The guests had no choice but to call a cab to make their flight. When I reserved my 5:15am shuttle to the airport she failed to inform me it was available at 5 or 5:30am. Like I said, I would stay again but don’t forget shampoo, etc.!
