Castlebar Road, Westport - Map
"Super hotel would definitely book again"
Great location to stay for climbing Croagh Patrick and cycling the greenway. Food in the bar was delicious, the restaurant looked lovely but was a bit posher than we were looking for so had a night out in the town for dinner in jj O'malleys which was fabulous, had to wait about 45 mins on a table on a Monday night off season so is worth booking in advance! We drive into the town as its a little bit further than we wanted to walk but it's only a 2-3 min drive so very easy for taxi access if required. No jacuzzi which my husband missed a little but the pool was nice and heated and so very enjoyable.

Best Western Plus Westport Woods Hotel

Quay Road, Westport - Map
"Excellent hotel, well located"
We travelled to Ireland on a last minute break on the motor bike, after seeing a very good weather forecast. The hotel was in an excellent location, ten minutes walk from Westport Quay, and fifteen minutes walk to the town. There was plenty of parking, and the reception area was spacious with lots of comfortable seating. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was located near reception and overlooked the gardens at the rear of the hotel. Spa facilities were excellent, with a large pool with lanes for serious swimming, as well as sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Breakfast was buffet style with good quality food. This was a really enjoyable stay, and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

"Great B&B with a great location"
We had an excellent stay here. Very nice house with great location. It is an easy walk to the center of town. We had a flat tire on our car the night we arrived and the car did not have a spare. Patrice was nice enough to retrieve us and save us the walk. The service is above and beyond at this B&B!

    Hotels in Westport Old Town

Some of the most modern and sophisticated hotels in Westport cluster in the historic centre, where the Carrowbeg River flows through this friendly town – these are worth seeking out by visitors who want to be at the heart of the action for dining, drinking, music, shopping and nightlife.

That said, the options of staying a little way out of town or down towards Westport House and the Quay area will still leave you with easy access to the centre, as Westport was built on a very human scale.

    Accommodation in Westport’s Quay Area

A good percentage of accommodation is to be found towards the trendy Quay area, dotted with desirable restaurants and shops, where the views out over Clew Bay are certain to make your stay a memorable one.

Overlooking the Bay, hilltop country house hotel accommodation will suit those visiting Westport for a carefree, laid-back holiday.
