Staff Reception and Management were all fantastic! Our stay was at a time just after the major storm but nothing was too much. I had flown in from Portugal but the stories I heard from local people who the hotel had looked after during this awful time was amazing. Well done The Ellison. I had an amazing stay with my husband and will be booking again soon! Message to Chef! Your Angus Steak was Incredible and Cooked to Perfection ! Wow

Loved the location opposite the Mayo Peace Garden and just 10 mins walk from the hustle of Castlebar. Breakfasts were great but the restaurant menu wasn't easy for me as I'm Gluten and Dairy Free. NO PROBLEM - our lovely waitress chatted with the chef and I had an absolutely delicious Thai curry. Thank you so much for your care and attention. We had a great stay X

Great hotel

I was late arriving and the staff were very accommodating in getting me a table in the restaurant before it closed. There is onsite parking which is free and the room was very clean and comfortable, just a pity I was there long enough to enjoy it more.
