"We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The room was large and had plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains black out so a lovely lie in. "Only stayed one night but everything was spick and span as you’d expect. Staff were more than helpful even allowing me to check in slightly earlier than allowed. If was looking for downside would be the boarded up pub/ restaurant next door detracting from the hotel. Few weeds growing around the building if cleaned up would be more welcoming but still good value. Can’t comment on food as I ate out"
