I was visiting Abertawe for one night to see old friends and this was a great place to stay. Perfectly located in the heart of the city and just a short walk away from some great restaurants. The room had a luxury quality to it like the coffee machine and plump bathrobes. My only critique was the curvy headboard wasn’t very comfortable (I move around during the night and kept hitting my head on it!). The staff were lovely when I checked in - taking me and my case direct to my room. Wouldn’t hesitate staying again on my next visit!

Great Stay

Had a wonderful stay the rooms were well decorated and had comfortable beds and great bathrooms. The breakfast staff were very helpful - Ben on the front desk was professional and friendly and recommended places to eat.

I've stayed in Swansea a few times but never explored the Marina. With local parking at £5 for 24hours, we were able to come and go as many times as we liked. This was useful as we were avle to drive back and forth between the hotel and our son's student house as much as we needed. The hotel was of a high standard, decorated in a boutique style. We didn't eat breakfast there as we wanted to try out The Observatory for brunch. That was a real find if you like reclaimed decor and the food was amazing.

If you are looking for an elegant, old-world place to stay with a sense of history and style, this is a very good choice. I was very comfortable here. The only reason I haven't given the highest marks is because not everything was easy: the shower was beautiful, but small. The room was nicely appointed, but a bit hard to maneuver around in. The bed was like something out of Jane Austen -- but a bit hard to climb up into (and I'm tall). Those things aside, I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location too for the main museums, a lot of eating choices, and the trendy renovated dock area.

During the past week I have had two stays at this hotel. The first as a loan lady traveller and the second with my husband. On my first visit I had had a terrible day and when I checked in I found my room was not to my liking - a personal thing, the room was beautiful but I just didn't feel comfortable. I spoke to the lovely Rhys on reception who was really kind and understanding. He did his very best for me, contact Kate the Manager and sorting me out with one that was exceptional, definitely well above the standard of room that I had booked and paid for. The hotel could not have been kinder with me, offering to place restaurant reservations or deliveroo orders as there is no evening meal on site. Both rooms that I stayed in had amazing showers and both had baths which is most unusual these days. A coffee machine and a kettle are provided for hot drinks in the room. The hairdryer is a good quality one that actually works well. Bedding is lovely, white cotton but not too crisp that it hurts to lie on. Breakfast is a definite treat, no buffet styled hot food service here. Everything is cooked to order and there is a great range that can be found on the breakfast menu on the internet. Everything and everyone displayed the hotels quality and excellent standards. The people that I would like to mention most are Molly, Rhys, Kate, Carys, Hayley and Layla. Thank you for everything. We will be back.
