"The one problem was the check in time. 3 p.m. suits car drivers but not train travellers , they have to carry suitcases around for some time if they if they arrive earlier."

The motel was clean, the bed was incredibly comfy, it has great technology in the rooms and a lovely lounge/reception area. One member of staff stood out to us on the Sunday night, we had a drink in the lounge area and she really went above and beyond making sure I had the perfect drink as they originally didn’t have the drink I wanted. "This is a great hotel option right in the heart of Oxford. The street around it is a bit busy and slightly grimy, but once you step into the downstairs entrance to the hotel you feel safe, comfortable, and everything was fresh and tidy. Our room was on the backside so we had no street noise issues. The room exceeded my expectations for the cost in its charm and features. This is a great option for a midrange priced hotel! I would definitely stay here again."

"Whilst the bedrooms could be more stylish they are fine and the bed was very comfortable. The communal areas and gardens are absolutely stunning however and the staff, without exception, were so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. "

"Very nice and very isolated, stunning views, property a little tired in places, but still very nice bedroom very nice, had dripping from gutter onto balcony which was a little annoying (room 206) apart from that nice and fresh. Would stay again if in area."
