Great bed, plenty of pillows, WiFi went down and they responded instantly. Good breakfast, full English, buffet style. Noisy road, dirty coffee cup in room, mold on rubber shower partition, 90% certain that the bathroom fan didn’t work, had to use the tub stopper chain to tie the shower head up.

This continues to be a great little hotel since I first reviewed under original ownership maybe 15 years ago. Well situated to use bus network into oxford where cars a burden best left behind

We enjoyed very much this hotel. Very accessible. Unfortunately, the sheet of one of the bed was dirty. Make sure to verify once you get into the room. I was surprised as everything else was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was great.

We were extremely surprised that this hotel is considered a 4-star hotel at all. The room given to us definitely needed some deep cleaning and upgrading to meet the 4-star bar: the shower head was leaking and spraying water upwards, paint was peeling, the caulk was turning black in the bathroom, there were stains on the toilet bowl, and dust was accumulating in less-used parts of the room. On the plus side, the staff was definitely very friendly and helpful.
