The best part is the staff, they are incredibly warm and welcoming. "Very pleasant stay in this B & B in a beautiful country setting - about 10 kilometers from Plazzolo Acredide, an interesting hill town that does not get much tourism. The B & B owner was very helpful in recommending things to see and places to eat. You need a car to get to this place, and it is not easy to find. Be sure to make a copy of the driving directions and bring them with you. No internet access. Good breakfast. This is a good place to stay if you want to get off the beaten track...

"I stayed in Room #120 for 3 nights. The staff incredibly accommodating & pleasant. The breakfast buffet was an excellent Italian breakfast complete with espresso-type coffees. However, I booked & paid for a superior double room. No way did I get what I paid for unless all superior double rooms are small. Nonetheless, the property very clean, a 2-minute walk to the bus depot, & centrally located."

"What a special place this is. A step back in time, with modern conveniences! Villa Guilia is absolutely gorgeous! I am so sorry we only stayed here one night. The bed was VERY comfortable and there were extra pillows. Great shower...and a MODERN hairdryer (hard to find in Sicilian hotels). We ate at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had on our 2-week trip. The owner could not be nicer! We will definitely return and stay longer."
