"We spent a lovely few days at La Peyriere, very relaxing and we manage to combine some lovely evenings by the fire with some long walks and trips to some amazing markets nearby. A great place to come if you want to have some time away from the day to day."

"Exactly what we needed - time to relax in perfect peace and tranquility. The house is in a lovely setting and has a number of seating areas from which to enjoy the scenery. It was full of butterflies due to the surrounding wild meadows and the only noise is that of the tree frogs. The pool is very private and is a good size so ideal for swimming. Although the house is set well away from everything, there are so many places to visit within reasonable driving distance. We really enjoyed our day...

"We had a brilliant time! The house is really well set up for large groups with kids. Nathalie was lovely, available if we needed her but not at all instrusive. She was helpful and relaxed. I was happy there was a cover for the pool and that it was cleaned daily. The outside eating area is great, so is the kitchen. We loved the pétanque (floodlight too!) and the outdoor seating area with comfy chairs and fairy lights. The dogs were around quite a lot and the kids loved that! The area is amazing....

"Fijne paar dagen doorgebracht. Geen verrassingen. Enkel spijtig dat het zwembad zoveel inkijk heeft maar de beplantingen zijn nieuw dus dat komt ook wel in orde. Top. Als we in de buurt zijn komen we zeker terug."

"Manuel et Mimi ont fait de ce lieu un endroit enchanteur avec des espaces extérieurs arborés, verdoyants, magnifiques. La piscine est la plus belle qu’on ai jamais eu en vacances. Quant à la maison, elle est très très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Deux petits bémols : la troisième chambre est en fait une mezzanine ce qui n’est pas facile pour la vie de famille. En outre, la mitoyenneté avec les propriétaires peut en déranger certains. Encore merci pour votre accueil chaleureux !"

"We had a fabulous holiday at Mas de la Rivière. The house is spacious and well-equipped and the private and partially shady terrace with its beautiful trees and wisteria-covered outdoor dining space was a godsend on the hottest of days. We enjoyed the beautiful clean pool and after-dinner boules on the floodlit pitch in the garden. Our dog enjoyed swimming in the river Tet next to the house and there are enormous sandy beaches nearby as well as some pretty rockier coves close to the Spanish...

"Classic stone home on 3 levels with spiral stone stairways and plenty of room. Fully appointed kitchen with dining up 2 steps with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Outside seating areas (2) are wonderful; one just outside dining room for easy access to kitchen that facilitates outside dining, and one expansive lounging area through short garden up a few steps into the pool area."

"This was the most perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday with family. The two buildings are both unique, interesting and very easy to stay in. The main house had everything we needed and the garden and swimming pool were the finishing touches on a what is a truly spectacular place. Highly recommended."

"Nous avons passé un moment fantastique ici, le temps était magnifique et la piscine était parfaite avec de belles vues. Alain était très amusant et patient avec mon mauvais français. Le quartier était calme et avait peu de pollution lumineuse, ce qui permettait de belles soirées à observer les étoiles. Je n'ai rien vu sur le fait d'apporter ses propres serviettes ou literie, ce qui était intéressant quand nous sommes arrivés dimanche soir mais Alain a sauvé la journée avec de la literie et nous...

"La maison est agréable à vivre, calme, dans un bel environnement. La cuisine est très bien équipée, ce qui permet de profiter de la cour pour déjeuner ou dîner au quotidien. Plusieurs promenades sont possibles à proximité, ainsi que de jolis sites à visiter, et des randonnées à ne pas manquer. Il est également possible de se balader à pied à partir de la maison, 2-3 sentiers charmants vous offrirons de jolis points de vue ainsi que la découverte des espèces locales de la forêt. "The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...
